Dear Shantanu,
The headlines are stacking up. From ambulances waiting hours outside A&E, to 6 million patients stuck on waiting lists for routine operations and experts warning we could face another COVID-19 wave this winter. [1] It’s a tough time for our NHS.
It shouldn’t need saying - but with reports of staff facing increasing abuse as the pressures on NHS services grow - it’s important to remember the incredible people behind the headlines. [2] Doctors, nurses, porters and many more, who work tirelessly to face all these different challenges head-on.
They deserve respect - not abuse.
So, we've created this powerful video of NHS staff from around the country answering questions about their experience of working on the frontline during the pandemic. It could play an important role in reminding people of the huge sacrifices they make day after day.
So will you help spread this important message across the UK by sharing this video with your friends, family and colleagues today? Use the button below to go to a page where you can view the video - and then share it with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and Email.
WATCH AND SHARE
Thanks for everything you do,
Michael, Jonathan and the 38 Degrees team
