Jeremy Corbyn, ejected by the Labour Party, wins the Islington constituency as an Independent candidate
TCLP-UK sees this election of Jeremy Corbyn as a good sign that things may be changing in the United Kingdom for greater honesty in public life. He refused to sing the National Anthem, God save the Queen' so we assume that he is a Republican but has taken the oath of allegiance to King Charles III as we argue for in our Constitution. As democrats we believe that the more political parties get representation in the House of Commons the better.
We wish him and those who support him well in developing a new way of doing politics.
