I caught sight of this headline from one of the current online magazines but did not have the time or resources to read it.
Perhaps it is referring to my article: https://web.archive.org/web/20150726082644/https:/shantanup.wordpress.com/2014/03/01/the-inevitable-economic-doomsday-scenario-for-the-world/
The Conservative Libertarian Society believes in austerity and limiting one's consumption to the bare minimum not just to save the planet from over-exploitation of natural resources but also because lower food consumption is a healthier option preventing obesity and other stress related ailments.
Some thoughts on the Economics of Green Socialism were formulated here:
I think the main reason governments should not be obsessed with constant "growth" is because growth for the sake of growth can often lead to imbalance, both economically and environmentally. When policies focus only on increasing numbers like GDP, they sometimes ignore the real well-being of people and the sustainability of resources.
A better approach might be to value stability, fairness, and quality of life. It’s a bit like being a skilled brawler in a strategy game, winning isn’t just about charging forward and expanding fast, but about managing your resources, choosing your battles wisely, and thinking long-term. Rushing without balance can cause everything to fall apart.
In real life, the same principle applies: instead of chasing endless expansion, focusing on sustainable progress can give us a healthier society and a safer future.
