Rahul Gandhi, the Conservative Libertarian Society believes, should weigh up his personal options of where he is heading, whether it is to do with a continued political career in the system of democracy prevailing in India or whether he is going to be of service to the 1.2 billion population by seeking the truth that he believes in from his utterances that led to the Judgment. The Indian population is entitled to the truth, more than the political outcomes emanating from his disqualification to stand for Parliamentary representation as a member of the Congress party that has arisen from the 2 year prison sentence.
It is no good to suggest that the decision of any court or the disqualification were politically-motivated as these would store more problems for him and Indian democracy. No matter where the court hearing was held (Surat) it's judgment must be respected and appealed through due process at a higher Court. This also applies to whether the disqualification was Constitutional in which case the matter should be challenged in a court of law.
Rahul Gandhi should have to prove the allegations that he has made concerning the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a court of law, not hide behind the privilege of being a member of the Lok Sabha to safely cast aspersions on a democratically elected Prime Minister. If choses to go to the public and make further comments on the Prime Ministers relationships with his former or present associates as he seems to have alluded to here, the voter might deduce that this is a political move on his part to strengthen the Congress Party ahead of the 2024 general election.
In short, he has a personal reputation to consider and only truth is risk-free. He needs to tread very carefully given that as Congress Party leader he has been discredited by a court of law.
The Conservative Libertarian Society thoroughly disapproves any attempt of personal or political conduct that is suggestive of a person trying to become a martyr to free speech. Free speech is disruptive unless truth is uttered, and only truth wins (Satyamev Jayate, that is Truth prevails).
