I do not vote in elections anymore because there are no official parties that carry out policies of the Conservative Libertarian Party of the United Kingdom of which I am the General Secretary and Leader, pending the garnering of supporters to the Party. This difference in approach to Conservatism has been demonstrated by the vitriolic manner in which the Conservative Party brought the resources of the State to diminish me in defaming what I stand for and try and disrupt the functioning of my Foundation: The Theory of Everything and its Usage at https://thenewclimateformankind.com. I am of the Vishista-advaita Sampradaya and have assumed the name of Swami Shantananda because I believe in peaceful co-existence within the society of the United Kingdom and in terms of its international relations. A free press is vital to carry out the dissemination of news and the fostering of the culture of the people. So to sell off the Channel 4 and attack the BBC are terribly shameful of the Conservatives that will make people ignorant. We should aim to Conservative Libertarians and the State does have a role in broadcasting and maintaining traditions and culture. Private ownership will lead to disaster as Media moguls will entertain people with fake news and imported culture from America that we should distance ourselves from culturally. We must live a British dream not an American dream. The British dream is to emancipate people from ignorance and develop a cohesive society.
So please stop this action

There’s no doubting how strongly we feel. You are one of more than 150,000 of us who signed the petition to keep Channel 4 in public hands. [1] But despite this, last night, the culture secretary Nadine Dorries announced she will be pushing ahead with her plan to privatise Channel 4. [2]
There’s public outcry at this breaking news - from newspaper front pages to MPs and high ranking officials publicly opposing the plans. [3] But we need to seize the moment and act fast to stop this sell off.
If thousands of us get in touch with our MPs today, asking them to speak up for Channel 4 and all that it stands for, we can make sure the Government feels the pressure and force them to rethink these plans.

The privatisation of Channel 4 puts a lot of jobs at risk, including a large number in the north and in Leeds (where the head office is).
The Government claims Channel 4 can’t compete against Netflix and Amazon Prime, but it made £74 million in surplus in 2020.
Selling to a commercial owner could mean the end of cult favourite shows like Great British Bake Off, Gogglebox and It’s a Sin.
National pride in this British institution and all that it has contributed to British culture could be threatened by new owners - who will put profit and commerciality over quality.
So Shantanu, will you email your MP and urge them to speak out against these plans by the Government? Every message will make a difference and show where we stand on this issue.
